Personal Injury Care - Accident/Injury Care

Accidents happen suddenly and unexpectedly. To help individuals recover, Metro offers those involved in automobile or work related accidents cost-effective skilled care services, which include a full range of rehabilitation services to reduce healing time and ensure a healthy road to recovery.

Our goal is to work with individuals suffering from an auto accident assistance in regaining as much of their independence as possible. To begin this process a Registered Nurse/Certified Case Manager will assess the victim’s current medical condition and skill level, then review this information with his/her External Case Manager. Based on these findings as well as wants and needs of the individual, Metro will form a Recovery Team from it’s professional home care staff. The Metro Recovery Team will develop a plan of action that aggressively promotes the victim’s road to independence. We can manage the complete case with our team of professionals.

Metro Recovery Teams may include some or all of the following professionals:

1. Companions
2. Home Care Aides
3. Licensed Practical Nurses
4. Registered Nurses
5. Internal Case Managers
6. Occupational/Physical Therapists
7. Medical Social Workers
8. Massage Therapy/Reflexology

In addition to providing support to auto accident victims, Metro also works with employees injured on the job in ensuring proper care and returning them back to work as healthy and quickly as possible. A Registered Nurse/Certified Case Manager will complete an initial assessment of the employee and with a Metro Recovery Team will be chosen based on the individual needs of the injured to provide the necessary care.

To Metro, communication is critical and important. As such, communication with the External Case Manager or insurance company will be completed on a weekly or bi-monthly basis.

Payment for Services
Depending on the type of injury sustained, our services are paid by Auto Insurance or Worker’s Comp. Our staff will verify insurance coverage for you.
